By now, you obviously have your coat, hat, and gloves for the season, but what about boots? I don’t mean your “out” boots, or your everyday boots,I am talking about bad weather boots. Usually the first time it snows each season, I squish around in the snow in my Uggs. They are not waterproof. They are cute but my feet get cold and wet and that’s not a good way to go shopping. Well, not this year. This time I am prepared and can’t wait to take the kids sledding in my new Tory Burch fur-lined duck boots. Just because the weather is messy, doesn’t mean your look has to be. These boots are cool, casual, and trendy – and keep your feet warm and dry at the same time.
The duck boot silhouette is definitely "in" this year — especially with the brutal blast of winter we got for Christmas. Designers like Burberry, Marc Jacobs have featured them for the season. And this style has almost a vintage feel – they are so old that they are new again!
Duck boots give all day comfort. It’s just not that comfortable to wear knee high rubber rain boots all day. So these leather and nylon duck boots are high enough to protect you from the elements and low enough to be comfortable to wear all day long.
Duck boots look cool with a casual Style. These are so warm, fun, and comfy that you can wear them on any cold day when you are dressing super casual. I wear them all the time, way more than I would traditional snow or rain boots. You would look crazy wearing rain boots on a completely sunny day, but not so with these boots! My weekend uniform now consists of these boots paired with skinny jeans and a super chunky sweater, or turtleneck layered under a tunic length sweater vest.
Sure, they are rugged looking. But they also have cool details that make them a little bit luxe as well. I love the gold hardware on the loop for the laces. And the fur lining, which also lines the entire inside of the shoe makes them look and feel luxurious.
Duck Boots have blinged up and now come in reds, greens and other fun colors. If you are more conversative buy the more neutral brown and dark green ones.
So duck up Ducky! With these boots you will be warm, dry, and ready for all kinds of winter weather!
