Elegant, beautiful, and graceful are three words to sum of Valentino’s new Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collection. At Paris Fashion Week, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli developed looks that could have be worn from passed decades and in to today. She did a beautiful mix of bringing in old Victorian fantasy meets 21st century Dallas girl.
What was seen walking down the runway were nice loose and flowing dresses, many liberating with pops of colors and others staying on the darker side. The dresses flowed with grace on the models and all were wearable and beautiful. The long dresses, intricate patterned coats, and the colorful boots presented an amazing showing. Any women would be able to find that perfect dress in this collection, if the budget was right of course. Many dresses were closed up to the neck, with long sleeves but then flowed out and were long.
The fresh colors ranged from pinks, to red, to green, to yellow and the interesting detailed patterns gave life to the collection. But the black and white and embroidered dresses gave off the extra elegance to prevail this collection to the next level. The darker colored and white dresses were detailed with rhinestones, jewels, other sparkling detail that gave of a more romantic high class feeling. With so many different elements that were seen, there is no doubt that this collection could be thought as one of the best presented during the week. The pieces were for any women of all tastes and were beautifully structured and designed.
