A new pop-up shop has been opened that is dedicated to bringing Italy to New York City, and several New York notables made appearances, such as fashion producer and media guru Redeemer Resk ‘Que as well as YRB Magazine Managing Partner and Editor, Jonn Nubian. On 434 Broadway, Official Made in Italy is selling all-Italian products. The Milan-based store opened its U.S. location in October.
The store carries a variety of fashions and accessories, from T-shirts, to formal shoes, to jewelry, to leather gloves, all Italian-made. For those who want a taste of Italy as well as the fashion, there are culinary selections, including jams and amaro (an Italian herbal liqueur). Other products include items for home décor and design, travel, wellness, and sports, according to the company’s Facebook page.
For those who can’t make it to the shop in New York, or who prefer to preview the merchandise before going to the store, Official Made in Italy’s website offers a selection of their collections as well.
Since opening, the pop-up shop has attracted some celebrity customers, like Ty Hunter, Beyoncé’s stylist, and actor Jeremy L. Carver.
Official Made in Italy will also be opening a temporary store in London March 15.
