urbans and veils added ambiance to Mara Hoffman’s tribal-and-desert themed fall/winter collection. While patterns were wild, silhouettes were reigned in for sleek sophistication with a modern edge. We appreciated that these looks were truly 3 dimensional. Super-skinnies in a tribal pattern were paired with matching tunics with intricate and unexpected tassel embellishments in the back. A long sleeve long-and-lean maxi dress in a zebra pattern stayed fresh with a hood and a surprise open back. Strapless and spaghetti-strapped cocktail dresses were bohemian, with macramé detail, exotic patterns, tassel embellishments, and light-as-air fabrics. And a stunning, billowy, floor-length caftan was luxurious and rounded out this cohesive collection beautifully. Her clothes were thoughtful, polished, and bold… bravo!
