This one is a stand-out!  This necklace by Oscar de la Renta ($790 at Neiman Marcus) has silver hardware over rope, and has metallic engraved beads, metal bugle beads, glass crystals, and acrylic beads.  It makes a bold statement, but the neutral color palette of the stones tone down the whole look.  Plus, it matches everything.

This fun piece by Anthropologie ($198) features a mesh-wrapped daisy, and lots of faux pearls and crystals.  I love the choice of hot pink, and the lack of uniformity of the pearl-and-crystal encrusted discs adds interest to the piece.

This necklace by Robert Rodriguez ($300 at Neiman Marcus) with blue and black beads, gunmetal chains, and faceted crystals is a stunner.  The green adds a pop of color and I love how the crystals are woven throughout the piece.

This adorable piece by Forever 21 (just $9!) proves you don’t have to spend a lot to look the part.  Interwoven chains and rhinestones mounted on a grosgrain ribbon create a look that is flirty and fun.

This Vera Wang piece ($650 at Neiman Marcus) is constructed of moonstones, clear rhinestones, and gunmetal flat-link chains.  A ribbon tie softens the look, and ensures the length will always be perfect!

This necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane ($370 at Saks) is sophisticated and the most understated of all the pieces featured here.  It is 22K goldplated with glass pearls, and has the look of the statement necklace without being too over-the-top or glitzy.

This stunner by Ranjana Khan ($1,090 at Saks) is made of lapis beads, clear and colored crystals, and brass accents.  Definitely a splurge, but it has such a beautiful combination of colors and textures.  Blue is a big color for spring, and just imagine how amazing it will look with denim!
