If you’re getting your spring wardrobe together and you want to work a colorful, comfortable but dressy casual look Dianne Von Furstenberg's Spring 2010 line has some great choices for you.
“I have never met a woman that is not strong,” says the designer.” And the bold pieces she has created are only for the strong, suave, and confident. Her use of understated ivories, yellows, and burnt oranges are hinted with sequins and metallic flocking and are poured over the softest chiffon, and crafted with the detail it takes to cut a diamond. She also plays with some natural and African inspired prints, and adds just enough sparkle.

She emphasizes fitted silhouettes with flirtatious jackets and fluid prints wrapped around them. The draping of her evening dresses is sensational emphasizing the needed confidence to wear them.

Her swimsuits are clever one shoulder pieces that play with print and of course, fit like a glove. Diane Von Furstenburg truly is a woman's designer. There are plays with silhouette and texture that still develop a sense of fluidity in movement, and generally would give any woman confidence when walking down the runway, or anywhere she goes for that matter.

In the runway show each model dons a Grecian Goddess headband and the highest platform heels to complete the look, feel, and walk. Makeup was natural, minimal – a popular trend for spring.
