Every item in the line has made use of recyclable material. There is a huge demand for organic products with the increased awareness of our environmental crisis and the fashion industry is responding .
H&M is offering organic cotton and organic linen, both of which are grown without the use of hazardous chemicals, are used throughout the collections. Recycled made from PET-bottles or textile waste and tencel, a silky, renewable material produced with minimal environmental impact, are also used.
“We are extremely proud of our Garden Collection for women, which has organic and recycled materials in every single garment,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design at H&M. The timing is perfect, the idea is brilliant, and will put a spring in your step and your wardrobe. Inspired by chlorophyll-green gardens, sundrenched landscapes the collection brings a burst of spring color to spruce up any boring basics. It’s back to the days of 60s with hippie chic flower-power.
