In head to toe grays, bones, beiges, taupes and blacks, Max Azria's Fall 2010 Collection focused on texture. With simple silhouettes and clean minimalist designs models marched down the runway at the largest tent in Bryant Park.
Max and Lubov Azria found inspiration from "organic elements, weightless volume, and individualistic style." Even the more boxy shaped looks which first went down the runway seemed light and airy. The soft flowy images was made even more evident as the show progressed unveiling chic unstructured jackets and billowing dresses.
Void of patterns and bright colors, it was a mix of materials like crepe, leather, mesh and satin in disassembled shapes pieced together which added interest and texture. Beading also took the looks up a notch adding a little sparkle and fun.
