Balmain went totally retro during Paris Fashion Week and brought back the glitz and glitter of the 70s disco era. The glam rock theme was rocking with rich fabrics, bold colors, square shoulders, and plunging necklines. Decarnin went out on a limb with this season's collection because he wanted to add something functional - lace tie bootie - not the predictable 5 inch stiletto heel.

One gold leather plunging neckline dress adorned with beads is certainly one style that will be seen on the red carpet this season. The front slit makes the dress sexy and feminine, but so practical for walking.
