“Twilighters” got a thrill during the MTV Music Awards last fall, with a glimpse into the future. They got a sneak peek trailer of the new Twilight Saga installation, New Moon which was released in November. The crowd went wild. Are you are feeling faint from anticipation while you wait for the release of Eclipse, the third installation of the series? Do you spend your nights tossing and turning and dreaming of Jacob or Edward? Here’s a way to get you through your longing and maybe help you lure your supernatural man.
The creative team at DuWop Cosmetics was responsible for the pale statuesque skin and intense eyes now associated with the Twilight Saga. The looks were so powerful that they launched another line, Twilight Beauty, composed of all the colors and looks in the movie.
This line is based on the actual makeup in the movie but the products have been adjusted for daytime wearability. “The actual vampire makeup alone would be a little intense for everyday,” says Cristina Bartolucci, founder and Creative Director of DuWop Cosmetics. “We still tried to keep the flavor and essence of the story. There has to be a true connection to the books. We went specifically for the characters. We got to think who these people were.”

Bella is the human – a normal, natural looking teenage girl. Her palette is natural with a beautiful sheer red stain which embodies her innocence and sensuality.
The crowning jewels of the Luna Twilight collection are found in these four kits, reflecting the mood and spirit of the iconic female characters from the Twilight saga, bringing together a harmonious collection for lips, cheeks and eyes.
Four palettes available: Bella – Soft and Subtle with nude shadows, warm nude blush, nude lipstick and the sheerest cherry red gloss. Victoria – Bold and Fiery with shimmering jewel-toned shadows and deep wine colored lipstick and gloss. Rosalie – Regal and Refined with peach toned shadows, a coral blush and apricot lipsticks and gloss. Alice – Eclectic and Spunky with shimmering blue and silver shadows, rosy blush and sheer hot pink lips.

Alice “a young spirit and almost “pixieish” Christina says and she’s fun. Her colors are a little more playful and with more sparkle.
Another product, the Twilight Palette, created by Julie Hewett of Los Angeles, comes complete with 4 great shadows in brunette, pola, black chandelier, and swank. The colors are great on their own but if you follow the instructions provided you’re left with great soft smoldering eye, very vampire-esque. Complete the look by applying a little bit of her Cheekie in Vampire on the apples of your cheeks and a dab on your lips. The great wine color instantly transforms you into a sexy creature of the night, the only down side is it leaves your lips a little dry.

Why are the evil always so beautiful? Victoria, the antagonist out to get Bella, wears beautiful berries on her lips. Her palette is deep and sensual with a touch of danger.
Twilight Venom, a natural lip plumper and stain with just a touch of shimmering crimson. Not only does it leaves your lips sexy, with a slight tingle. It also hydrates your lips with a combination of argan oil, avocado oil, olive oil, and vitamin E.

Rosalie is like “glamorous cheerleader”. Rosalie’s palette is an arrangement of peaches and pinks with just the right amount of shimmer.

There are a lot of people going after the vampire eyes in the movie but if you look closely you’ll notice it isn’t your typical smoky eye, it’s a “clean smoky eye.” It’s very crisp and bold, but not dripping down your eye. It stays right at the lash line. Cristina describes it as an actress smoky eye as opposed to a fashion one.
If you’d like to channel the Cullen clan or the dangerous Volturi yourself Cristine recommends brushing a lighter color across your eye and then adding a deeper color into the lashes to add a smoky effect. Make sure to keep it all right at the lash line though.
Labyrinth, has a loose eye shadow in the Volturi collection called Dusk. Dab a little bit of it on your lids for a sexy dark look. Use Foreshadow, an eyelid primer, before applying your eye makeup to ensure that your vampire look lasts all night long.
