New York Giants Sinorice Moss joins Priscilla Monteiro, Fashion Blogger and curator of new website fashionandfootball.com. New York Giants Sinorice Moss and William Beatty were huddling last week. But they were not discussing the Giants' playbook and they weren’t on the football field. They were at La Pomme on West 26th Street talking about fashion and football. Yes, fashion. Olympic Silver Medalist Tim Morehouse, champion saber fencer, shows off his civilian uniform for the evening -- Hugo Boss. The launch party hosted by Moss, was attended by wrestlers, fencers and men who … well … love fashion. Olympic Silver Medalist Tim Morehouse, a champion fencer, wants his style to be as sharp as the end of a rapier. “You have to wear a uniform on the field, in whatever sport you’re playing,” he says. “But you’ve also got to represent yourself off the field. Morehouse, brought back from the Beijing Olympics, a silver medal in Men's Saber Fencing. Since then he’s been on the New York celebrity scene, doing motivational speaking and is now signed with Wilhelmina Models. Sporting his Hugo Boss suit, Morehouse proudly admitted, “two years ago I would not have known any of this” as he looked around the club full of fashionistas. Arthur and Lisa Robbins celebrate the launch new website fashionandfootball at La Pomme with their personal style statements. The website’s goal is to be a one-stop-shop for all things fashion, providing grooming and shopping tips for both men and women. Visitors can glance through a shopping guide, while catching up on news on favorite football players, on both the professional and college level. On the site you can post comments, leave feedback, connect, tweet and provide style tips to their favorite football player. Photographer: Laura Sánchez |
